Features

Though located in the heart of Old Mountain View, 223 Vincent has been thoroughly renovated to meet the needs of today’s modern Mountain View lifestyle. The open kitchen with Bertazzoni 5-burner professional range and large island is the centerpiece of the greatroom with dual-paned windows and French doors that welcome your family and guests to the backyard deck and patio, which is pre-plumbed for your gas barbecue or fire pit. The bonus family room with vaulted shiplap ceiling and remote-controlled fireplace can flex to serve as home office or playroom—separate from the greatroom, yet also connected to the backyard through French doors—the private powder room also allows the space to serve as a fourth bedroom for the occasional guest.

Gleaming wood floors lead you to the home’s three bedrooms and two hotel-quality bathrooms with beautiful stone, sparkling hardware, and crisp porcelain finishes. Dimmable recessed lighting fixtures and skylights with light-diffusing shades continue in the bedrooms as in the common living spaces. Plantation shutters, crown moldings, and large casement mouldings punctuate the smooth-finish walls and enhance the tranquility of the sleeping spaces.

A quick 10-minute walk to buzzy Castro Street in Downtown Mountain View, you’ll enjoy dozens of dining options should you tire of cooking in the home’s bright and beautiful subway-tiled kitchen. Stay connected with the home’s hard-wired gigapower internet, Ring doorbell, Nest thermostat, and smart garage opener—monitor and control these home functions remotely.  Outstanding access to Hwy 85, Central Expressway, and Caltrain make getting home to 223 Vincent fast and easy—lucky thing—you’ll want to spend lots of quality time in this beautiful home.

Mountain View

Tech workers and families flock to Mountain View for its easy access to public transit, lively business district, and proximity to many of Silicon Valley’s biggest companies. The city also offers numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation, including 700-acre Shoreline Park.
Downtown Mountain View centers on Castro Street and is home to an array of restaurants, bookstores, cafes, and nightlife establishments, making it a popular destination for Peninsula and South Bay residents. Mountain View is also home to the Computer History Museum, the Mountain View Center for Performing Arts, and a 70,000-square-foot library.
The city of 78,000 boasts two Caltrain stations, one of which is a “baby bullet” express stop, as well as Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority light-rail and bus service. Commuting to San Jose and other Silicon Valley cities is convenient on public transit or via HIghway 101 and state Route 85. Of the city’s 33,881 housing units, around 42 percent are owner occupied, according to 2013 United States Census Bureau data.
