Features

Overview: 2380** square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and 2-car garage

Flawless in juxtaposition, this fully remodeled San Carlos home marries the exterior ranch style in a serene tree-filled setting with modern interior design and ultra high-tech features.  Large, bright rooms flow openly in the floor plan, and multiple decks and broad windows on both levels showcase 180-degree vivid views of the lush green hills of Devonshire Canyon below.

The connected kitchen, dining, and family/media room comprise the social center of the home, where family and friends can sit chatting around the large island or retire to the media room for a film on the 102-inch retractable screen and built-in HD projection system.  The top-of-the-line kitchen implemented European-style frameless cabinets, a glass subway tile backsplash, Brazilian granite counters, and sleek stainless steel appliances.

The lower level layout includes two bedrooms, a full-sized laundry room, and the plush master suite with large closets, programmable mood lighting, and a spa-like bath.  Enjoy relaxing in the master soaking tub under the scenery of tall oaks through the picture window.  The master suite also opens to a peaceful outdoor sanctuary—featured on HGTV’s Curb Appeal—with a redwood deck sitting area enveloped by a three-tiered waterfall and pristinely landscaped amphitheater of lavender, ferns, and tall bamboo.

With top-notch schools and Big Canyon, Heather, and Eaton Park all a stones throw away, both a dynamic lifestyle and peaceful daily living await at 20 Winding Way.

San Carlos

San Carlos sets the bar high with its motto “the city of good living,” and families flock to the mid-Peninsula community for its highly ranked schools, thriving Laurel Street shopping district, and quaint feel.

The city of approximately 30,000 residents is located between Belmont and Redwood City. San Carlos is close to U.S. Highway 101 and state Route 82 and has a Caltrain stop that’s on the National Register of Historic Places. It is also home to the San Carlos Airport and the Hiller Aviation Museum.

In 2010, the city dissolved its police department and now receives law-enforcement service from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

The median household income in San Carlos is $118,000, and the median home value is $919,000, according to 2013 United State Census Bureau data. Of its 12,018 housing units, 70 percent are owner occupied.
