Features

This extremely private gated estate rests astride the highest peak in Tiburon, near the end of a secluded cul-de-sac.  There are unobstructed panoramic views for miles in virtually every direction, making the 13,000+ sq.ft.* home feel even larger than it actually is.  With 25+ rooms, 6+bedrooms, six full-bathrooms / three 1/2 baths, five fireplaces, a library, sound studio, an underground basketball / squash / sport court, sauna, media room, pool, hot tub, and more storage space than you can imagine, there is simply no other home in the Bay Area like it.   Total seclusion and privacy, yet just a 20-minute drive to the Golden Gate Bridge, or a seven-minute drive to the Tiburon Ferry, for carefree easy access to downtown San Francisco, and beyond.

The purchase of this panoramic view compound at $12m will include an aggregate of three separate parcels totaling more than two acres**. The home itself is on a 20,000+ square foot lot, but the new owner(s) will also acquire two separate, buildable, adjoining lots, which the current homeowner purchased years ago, to better secure his privacy. One lot, to the east, (7 Place Moulin) is 19,380 sq.ft. (per tax records).  It too enjoys unobstructed panoramic views.  And there is another view lot included as well.  107 Mount Tiburon, to the south, which is 1.26 acres (per tax records). Both additional lots are on cul-de-sacs, and both have street frontage.  The vistas from this extravagant and very private Estate residence are certainly among the most breathtaking in all Marin County.  They include unobstructed panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline, the Bay, Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, Belvedere Island, Alcatraz, the Marin Headlands, Mt Tamalpais, and everything in between.  The grandeur, flow, and amenities of this baronial estate make it perfect for elegant entertaining, yet no less perfect for intimate family fun. The views, privacy, location, and light are among the best in all Marin.  The sheer size and room-count make it among the largest in all Marin.  So, if you’re hoping to find a legacy property like none other, please take a moment to view the dedicated website in order to see for yourself why this offering is the best value Estate Property in all Marin.

*Please note that tax records indicate the home is under 10,000 sq.ft., yet it has recently been measured to be in excess of 13,000. Interested parties are encouraged to satisfy themselves independently as to the actual size of the home.

**Also, please note that the property owner prefers to sell all three parcels in one transaction but, for the right price, may consider selling them separately.

Neighborhood

Tiburon
Tiburon’s waterfront location makes it a prime destination for Marin County homebuyers. For a town of less than 10,000 residents, Tiburon offers a variety of activities that belies its small size. The annual Tiburon International Film Festival brings films from around the world. Residents enjoy shopping in the elegant boutiques along Ark Row, a leafy, block-long enclave of tiny shops that were once floating arks, and dining at the excellent restaurants along Main Street. For the nautically inclined, Tiburon's Corinthian Yacht Club hosts races on the bay. Ferries to San Francisco and Angel Island State Park leave from the dock at Tiburon. Tiburon's parks are strung out like pearls on a necklace along the water’s edge. Blackie's Pasture, named after an old swaybacked horse that once lived here, is a popular spot for hikers, joggers, bikers, moms with strollers, and dog walkers. On weekends, the parks fill up with soccer players of all ages.

Belvedere
Large, historic homes perched on hillsides with commanding views of San Francisco Bay define Belvedere, one of Marin County and the Bay Area’s most desirable communities. With waterfront vistas that rival the Côte d'Azur (and prices to match), Belvedere is one of Marin's most exclusive enclaves. Waterfront activities are the reason many people move to Belvedere. Located on two former islands now filled in with causeways and separated by a private lagoon popular with kayakers, Belvedere is all about water. The San Francisco Yacht Club calls the city home.
