Lincoln Highlands sits between state Route 13 to the east and Interstate 580, convenient for those who commute via car. Just down the hill in the Dimond neighborhood, residents can access AC Transit’s NL bus line, which offers transbay service to San Francisco.

The Dimond neighborhood is also home to a number of restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and a library. Nearby Montclair village has a weekend farmer's market, many restaurants, coffee shops, services and stores.
