Coveted Liberty Street is located in the Dolores Heights/Liberty Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. Dolores Heights overlooks Dolores Park and is characterized by steep hills and a mix of private homes, duplexes, and small to mid-size apartment buildings in many architectural styles such as Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Mid-century, and Contemporary, to name a few.  The neighborhood is at the cross section of three distinct areas: Noe Valley, Eureka Valley/Castro, and the Mission. The center of each of these neighborhoods can be reached in a 5-10 minute walk from 314 Liberty Street.

Noe Valley is clustered around its retail shops and services on 24th Street and Church Street. These include Whole Foods and many distinctive only-in-San-Francisco stores. There’s also an active dining scene with French, Mediterranean, Peruvian, and many other great restaurants.

The Upper Market/Castro neighborhood is the famed heart of San Francisco's LGBT community, although it’s a dynamic and changing place as tolerance and diversity mean that all kinds of people are attracted to the restaurants, bars, and nightlife in this quirky, unique area.
