Distinctive design, offering 4225 sf+/- of living space with five large bedrooms, five and one half baths, situated on an oversized 12,500 sf+/- lot.

Stunning curbside presence that captures the grandeur about to unfold . . . stately staircase, magnificent woodwork, inlaid hardwood floors, and a feeling of space and comfort balanced with natural light.

The floorplan is open with high ceilings, showcasing an abundance of majestic windows and doors that seamlessly flow to the magical grounds surrounding the property.

The living room, adorned with beauty and grace, is highlighted with a classic fireplace, extraordinary mouldings, a multitude of glass and a warm array of color.

The formal dining room, identified with a stunning arched entry, presents itself as an attractive enclave for the finest of dining and family gatherings, yet is fully functional and centrally located for ease and comfort.

The office, chic in design, is accented with custom built ins, sleek boxed ceiling, tasteful wainscoting, and impressive French doors.

The great room / kitchen combination transcends the entire width of the home and represents the heart of activity.  Majestic in every sense, from stainless appliances to floor to ceiling cabinetry, the area is built for ease of living.   A large island with stools, stylish light fixtures, beautiful marble and tile, and a large, separate eating area for everyday use.   A large flatscreen TV, surround sound, and cozy fireplace identify the sprawling great room.

Everything seems to flow to the outdoors, including the spacious double doors from the great room/kitchen.  Once outside, the standard of entertainment changes to a new level.  Complete with outdoor kitchen, television, and a massive lounge area, this lush and private patio leads to the mesmerizing creek bed just steps away . . . a truly amazing venture down a serene winding path where nature appears in her simple, pure splendor.

Upstairs are four bedrooms, all suites, and all with large closets and shelves.  The Master is an exceptional example of space and functionality . . . with its bath and shower being the pivotal element of luxury.  Vaulted ceiling, spacious walk in closet, recessed lighting, and gleaming hardwood floors come together for the perfect ending.

Neighborhood

Located 15 miles from downtown San Francisco, Burlingame is a populous suburb with a thriving commercial base of its own. The city stretches from San Francisco Bay to the east, Interstate 280 to the west, Millbrae to the north, and Hillsborough and San Mateo to the south. Burlingame calls itself the City of Trees and counts 18,000 trees on public land and right-of-ways -- including several large stands of eucalyptus. The Broadway and Burlingame Avenue corridors are popular shopping districts, but the city has commercial interests as well. Industrial growth in Burlingame was spurred in the 1960s and ’70s by its proximity to San Francisco International Airport. Landmarks in Burlingame include the distinctive Caltrain station at Burlingame Avenue and California Drive, built in 1894 in the Mission Revival style. Nearby is Washington Park, which covers 19 acres and includes tennis courts, baseball fields, a basketball court, a picnic area, a playground, and plenty of green space.  For additional  information about Burlingame's treasured history, visit https://burlingamehistory.org/
