NORTH OF PANHANDLE

ELEGANT 3 BEDROOM CONDOMINIUM

1996 Grove Street, San Francisco

An enduring classic, this fine historic condominium flat is situated on the first floor of a turn of the century Victorian building located on the peaceful corner of Grove and Clayton within the hip San Francisco neighborhood of NOPA with eateries, historic landmarks, beautiful parks, trendy bars, and shops.

With high airy ceilings and fine rich oak flooring, this beautiful property offers an open and modern living, dining and kitchen area at one end and a private grand suite bedroom at the other. The grand bedroom has a delightful adjoining sitting room (or nursery) and double doors to a luxurious en-suite bath with a deep clawfoot tub, double sink marble vanity, and separate shower. The entry and handsome hallway corridor offers privacy and space, with two additional bed and bathrooms.

The well-appointed kitchen features white cabinetry, a marble tiled backsplash with rich stone-composite counters, and stainless steel appliances. A common laundry room and deeded storage area are located at the basement level, conveniently accessed by way of a staircase off of the guestroom office.

1996 Grove Street offers refined elegant living, showcasing a striking profusion of interior details that make this property luxurious and distinctive: Coffered ceilings, stately wainscoting, a deep soaking tub in the primary bath, and a charming decorative fireplace in the living room.

Neighborhood Gallery

1996 Grove St, San Francisco

The North of Panhandle area, or Nopa, is rapidly becoming one of the city's most in-demand neighborhoods. Situated just north of Golden Gate Park's Panhandle, and abutted by the Divisadero corridor, you'll always feel there's something to do, and within walking distance! Here you'll feel central to everything, with easy freeway access via Fell and Oak streets, several Muni lines at your doorstep, and very easily navigable bicycle routes. And yet, the nearby green spaces imbue the entire area with a low key, peaceful air. Services and entertainment are easily accessed, making car-free living a very appealing lifestyle choice. In addition to Divisadero's many trendy cafes, clubs and shops, you can do your grocery shopping at the Lucky Center on Fulton, and hit up Broderick Place for speciality deli goods. Homes near the Panhandle are exceptionally desirable. There are also multi-unit apartment buildings and condos for the investment buyer. It's also a great spot to bike, shoot hoops or just chill out by the bandstand. Young professionals and students, families, and long-time residents fill up Nopa's many Victorian and Edwardian single family homes and multi-unit buildings. There are plenty of opportunities to meet your neighbors, be it at Sunday's Divisadero Farmer's Market or the bi-monthly Divisadero Art Walk. The North of Panhandle Neighborhood Association does a wonderful job of organizing events and keeping everyone informed of neighborhood news. The neighborhood even has its own parents' group.
