SELLERS NOTE

What we loved about living here!

"My family has owned and lived at this property for over seventy years. It was a wonderful home and neighborhood to grow up in. Our home was a gathering place for family and friends. We celebrated many holidays there and often family, friends and neighbors would stop by. Many of these visits were in the basement or on the front porch. When the garbage man would come to collect the garbage bill, he would often come in and enjoy a glass of wine with my family. My siblings and I walked to school and often rode our bikes around the city. Ocean Beach was a favorite destination. The bonus room in the basement was built for me. It was my bedroom and I loved having my own space. Having my bedroom on the ground floor also offered me a feeling of independence.  My two favorite places to shop on Ocean Avenue were the hardware store and Kings Tots & Teens. The hardware store was a great source for Christmas presents. Tots & Teens was the place to find clothing for special occasions. I was lucky to grow up on Plymouth. I loved our home and the neighbors were friends. There were countless fun things to do in our neighborhood and in San Francisco. My family and I have wonderful memories of living on Plymouth. Although I am sad to say goodbye to our home, it is time for a new family to enjoy this home and this neighborhood."
