A previous owner of 75 Wellington also owned a camellia nursery out in Sleepy Hollow, and planted many different varieties at the house. At one time there were 60 different types here, and it was known throughout the area as The Camellia House. Some of the beautiful camellia bushes here at the house that we enjoy every year are 80 years old!

75 Wellington has been an idyllic place to raise our three daughters, and the deep relationships we have built with our wonderful neighbors are friendships that will last a lifetime. The freedom that our children enjoyed growing up in Winship Park seems like it’s hard to find these days -- our daughters grew up running around the neighborhood to friends’ homes, walking and riding their bikes to the Ross School, and when they were a little older, strolling down to the charming shops and restaurants of San Anselmo.  It’s so much fun to watch the neighborhood traditions continue,
with hordes of trick-or-treaters, kids decorating bikes for holidays parades, and the daily dog-walkers meeting up for the neighborhood loop, just to name a few!
